NIR MEIRI RED CLAY DESIGNER
Do you need...
to go from idea to full technical files?
You have a great product idea, and you want to make it a reality. This means that you'll need concept designs, revisions, and technical 3D modeling files that you can bring to your manufacturer or prototyper.
Expect a project like this to cost between $7,000 and $10,000, depending on the complexity and number of parts.
...some tweaks or early concept work?
Maybe you've already done a lot of the heavy lifting, and you still need a few tweaks to get you to the final stage. Maybe you're just starting out, but not ready to commit to production yet. You want some early concept designs that will get you moving in the right direction.
You can expect a smaller project like this to cost between $2,000 and $5,000.
The Cost Breakdown
The reason that there is a price range for Red Clay projects is because, in the end, the price of your Red Clay project is entirely up to you.
After an initial nominal posting fee to get your project kicked off, you will decide how many designers you want to work with, and how many initial concepts and revisions you want to request from each of your designers.
You'll also set your own buyout price for your final deliverables. Our product experts can help you find the right number for the buyout, so don't worry if you aren't sure.
Cost per phase on Red Clay
Identify the number of items you’d like designed, and choose from 1 to 10 people to make up your perfect design team.
Cost per Design
Request up to 10 options from each designer, for each item. At this point you should expect hand sketches or early computer renderings.
Cost per Design
Select how many initial sketches you’d like to see revised. Designs are more detailed in this stage, getting you closer to a final product.
Buyout full rights to the design and receive technical drawings to plug directly into your supply chain. Need it in CAD? An .stl for 3D printing? Our designers can work to your specs.
UnaliWear had an unusual request for a tech company: design a smart watch that your grandma would understand how to use, and actually wear.
The Beloved Brand
Dillard's department store saw a huge opportunity for growth in homewares for Millennial shoppers, but needed fresh, new designs to win them over.
The Online Innovator
Moving away from flash sales of hard-to-find designer home goods, the online retailer launched an initiative to design its own private collections.
