Laura D. Haba, AIA Associate

Architect James Maynard earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2000. He is a registered architect in North Carolina and has over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial projects.  What James loves most about his work is how he can transform abandoned and forgotten buildings into a new use. This is the main reason why he founded REDCLAY DESIGN in 2008.

Laura D. Haba, AIA Associate

Laura received her Bachelor’s of Architecture from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, in Bogota, Colombia in 2012. Laura moved to Charlotte in 2014 where she earned her MA in interior Architecture & Design from Queens University of Charlotte. Laura is a very talented designer with years of experience in Historic preservation and Commercial projects. She has worked in different large Multifamily projects in FL and NC.

  Andrew received his B. Arch from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2002. Throughout his eighteen years of experience he has focused on housing, preservation, and sustainability. In 2009 Andrew moved to New Orleans to pursue national service through AmeriCorps. Following his service he continued his work with sustainable architecture and old buildings through architectural practice. Andrew joined RedClay in 2021.

Kathryn McDowell, AIA Associate

  Kathryn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture in 2019 and her Master of Architecture degree in 2020 both from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Kathryn studied in both Rome and Tokyo during her time at UNCC. She is currently working on her NCARB AXP on the path to obtaining architectural licensure. Kathryn joined REDCLAY in 2019.
