Design & tax credit submissions for the renovation and rehabilitation of four historic duplexes and one single family home in the historic mill village of McAdenville, NC. These architecturally significant homes are the oldest and few standing examples of brick mill houses in the state. Originally built in the 1880’s as worker housing for the McAden mill, the homes were renovated to add upstairs bathrooms and be fully modernized for today’s market rate standards all within a very tight budget. Already being contributing structures in the local historic district, these recently renovated homes are now some of the most desirable rental units in the area.
